Larger dog-like head, mostly gray with a medium sized (non-fox-fluffy) tail with a bit of yellow; it appeared to lope ahead of me. Spent 5 minutes just off Ridge trail at dusk. I may have been too far away but not a sound as it moved about in the brush.
